Underwater magic in the Adriatic

Peek into the depths of the sea that preserve centuries-old stories at one of the best diving spots in Europe. The Dalmatian coast is a real representation of the best that the Adriatic Sea has to offer. You can explore old wrecks of ships and planes from the world wars, beautiful intact coral structures or hidden caves and observe one of the most diverse marine life.

There is a large selection of diving spots on the islands that have impressive diving locations. The Adriatic, in fact, hides the secrets of about three thousand missing ships, and only a small number of them are known to be there. When we add to that the fact that in that closed sea there was a waterway from ancient Greece to Italy, and how the wars and naval battles of the past centuries left traces on the seabed of the Adriatic, you understand that it is a real historical picture book in the depths of the sea. Some of the main destinations that are visited are Vis, Lastovo, Pelješac, Kaprije, NP Kornati, Cres, Krk, as some of the most attractive places for diving.

At the same time, don’t forget what the famous “Titanic” researcher Dr. Robert Ballard: “Take only photographs with you from the wreckage, and leave behind only air bubbles.”
