1.STONČICA – VIS
Built in 1865. One of the lighthouses on the Adriatic with the largest range of light, up to 30 Nm.

It is located on the north-eastern cape of Vis, not far from the building itself, there are the remains of a Roman villa, and in the sea around the cape itself, there are many archaeological sites that bear witness to a rich history dating back to ancient times.

2.SUŠAC

It is located on the island of the same name, 23 Nm south of Hvar and 13 Nm west of Lastovo.
It was built in 1878 on a 100 m high cliff that falls into the transparent clear sea, visibility up to 30 m deep. Sušac itself is adorned with hidden bays with stone beaches. Valuable archaeological remains from the ancient era were found on the island. The only well-maintained path is the one that leads from the beach to the lighthouse itself, and besides several endemic bird species that nest here, the only living inhabitants of the island are the lighthouse keeper and the shepherd.

“You should experience that feeling, that night on a deserted island in the lantern on its top, that hilarity of the sea, that force of the wind, that infinity of the universe, that terrible loneliness of man at the moment when the winds are howling, when the trembling island on which millions of cubic meters are falling is enraged must, when the world is collapsing. You should be able to understand the lighthouse keeper” – Ante Perušić, lighthouse keeper

3.PALAGRUŽ LIGHTHOUSE

It was built in 1875 on the most remote Adriatic island, which emerges in all its beauty from the unspoiled sea exactly halfway between the Croatian and Italian coasts. The island of Palagruža is a natural reserve with plant and animal endemic species and there are sites from the time of the Greek hero Diomede. The view from the cliff on which the lighthouse itself is located is an experience you will remember for a lifetime and a kind of reward for hiking the winding path.

4.STRUGA LIGHTHOUSE

It is located on the southern side of Lastovo, on the edge of a cliff 90m above sea level, so it seems to float between the blue of the sea and the sky. It was built in 1839 and the dome itself hides the oldest lens on the Adriatic. It is interesting that already the third generation of the Quinta family is guarding this beautiful and above all important building. The very energy of Lastovo, the most remote inhabited island, which is a continent in itself, combined with a trip to this lighthouse will leave you with indelible memories.

5. GLAVAT LIGHTHOUSE

A monument to an indecision How Mljet, Korčula and Lastovo quarreled with the Greek Gods. Namely, the Greek Gods could not agree on which of these three islands is the most beautiful. Zeus sent an emissary to assess the beauty on the spot. God’s messenger emerged at the position of today’s islet Glavat, 9 Nm from Lastovo, 12 from Korčula and 8 from Mljet. For days he observed the islands, admired them, put together their advantages and disadvantages in his head, but he could not decide which one was the most beautiful. The mighty Zeus punished his indecision by petrifying him in the midst of that beauty and turning him into the tiny island of Glavat. The lighthouse was built in 1849. In the very center of the islet of the same name, which has the shape of a perfect circle. It has great importance for sailors, because it is surrounded by numerous reefs and shoals.
